Welcome! After fifteen years, I guess it is time to “remodel” my website. I have always thought that when you like something, why change it? In all of the houses we have lived in I arranged the furniture the way I liked it and it stayed that way until we moved! The only exceptions have been the kitchens. I have remodeled four kitchens (you’d think I would learn).
Because I have designed needlework for over thirty years and now have begun new pen and ink coloring projects, I thought it would be a good time to reintroduce my past needlework work and provide you with some new and different work to do that you can see on my featured work page. While not all of my needlework is in the shop yet, it will be once it is reintroduced.
Most of the work I have in the shop now are my Christmas stockings and ornaments. I do have other Christmas designs but they are part of my Pocketbook Needlework series. They will be in the shop later in the spring. The Days of Advent sampler is also included in the shop. I am taking a page out of C.S. Lewis’s book The Lion,The Witch and The Wardrobe. The people in Narnia lamented that “it was always winter, but never Christmas.” For this winter my website will be always Christmas (even though it is winter)!
The picture above is of our dog Lucy and me. She is a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix. Lucy is such a sweet girl, very calm, a wonderful walking companion, and evening couch sitting friend. While I have always had a basement office, at our house in Pennsylvania, I work in the upstairs sunroom. I feel like I am in a tree house. I hope you will enjoy my remodeled website.
