Mary Beale: How long have you been stitching?
Who taught you to stitch?
Pat Judson: "It's been almost 25 years since my daughter and I taught ourselves to cross stitch."
Pat Judson: "I love the look of needlepoint, but enjoy doing cross stitch more."
Pat Judson: "I mainly stitch for myself, but have a few special friends that I enjoy making gifts for." Mary Beale: What is the biggest needlework project you have ever undertaken? Did you keep it or give it away? Pat Judson: "My biggest project has been the Jane Bostocke sampler reproduction, which I kept for myself. My daughter has her eye on it though."
Pat Judson: "All the pictures I have are gifts made for friends. Two of the projects pictured are taken from the series of small projects on cards in 1997. I made one into a needlecase and the other into a pincushion. The Boston scene was worked on 40 count linen to make it smaller and made into an ornament."
Pat Judson: "I have a few samplers that I've collected and old needlework tools. One of my favorite samplers is Sarah Lees 1733, a birthday present 15 years ago. I am especially fond of pincushions and my favorite is "Friendship", given to me by a special friend." More Gallery Images ![]() |
