Mary Beth Makowski: "I taught myself needlepoint about 30 years ago. "


Mary Beale: Do you mainly cross-stitch or needlepoint?

Mary Beth Makowski: "Mainly needlepoint."
Mary Beale: Do you mainly stitch for yourself or others?

Mary Beth Makowski: "I usually stitch for myself, but occasionally will stitch or paint a canvas for a gift.."
Mary Beale: What is the biggest needlework project you have ever undertaken?  Did you keep it or give it away?
Mary Beth Makowski: "I think your Sampler Wreath. That was the first cross stitch project I did, and I also did the finishing work."

Mary Beale: Which Mary Beale design have you stitched?  Have you stitched more than one?

Mary Beth Makowski: "Sampler Wreath, From the Book of Common Prayer, and I am working on Sampler Stocking 8."


Mary Beale: Do you have a favorite?  Why?

Mary Beth Makowski: "IThe one I am working on is always my favorite."
